Law or journalism?

I got to study journalism by coincidence. When I gave the PSU I wanted to study  law, maybe because my father is a lawyer and always I have been very close to this profession and in my opinion it’s very interesting. Nevertheless, my score in the test wasn’t enough for study law in the university that I wanted. There was that for an impulse I applied to journalism and I stayed.  The true is that I wasn’t too disappointed for didn’t stayed in law, strangely I was interested in journalism and I was very happy.
During the first two years in journalism, I enjoyed. Maybe because I liked report on site, made interviews, wrote and especially feel the adrenalin of doing new things that look easy but there were a challenge for me. The satisfaction of make a good interview or an article, it’s one of the things that I like this profession. Nevertheless, since last year the journalism like profession it has disappointed me, or rather the professional reality. I think that in the university they teach us an idealistic view of the journalism but in the practice isn’t true.

Sometimes, I think that if I had studied law I would more passion for my career. Anyway, in these four years of university I founded what I like most about journalism: academic investigation. This year I have worked enough in this area, I made my first academic article with two professors and besides I have been collaborated like investigation assistant in another projects.
